Four cakes in one afternoon

We agreed early on that Mai would choose the flowers, the music and the date, and that Khoa would choose the cake. It seemed like a fair division at the time.

The tasting took most of a Saturday: passion fruit, pandan, black sesame and a coconut sponge that nobody could stop eating. Khoa took notes. The notes say "yes" four times.

In the end it is pandan and coconut, in two tiers, with flowers from the tables on top. There will be enough for seconds.
