It is official: we are getting married on Saturday 11 December 2027, in the garden of the Frangipani Garden House in Thao Dien, by the river. The envelopes went to the post office on Monday, all eighty-four of them, addressed by Mai one evening at a time.

If you are travelling from abroad, now is a good time to look at flights. December is the dry season in Saigon, warm in the day and pleasant in the evening, and the city is busy with visitors before the new year.
