Borrowing to buy an asset that earns is a different decision from borrowing to cover a gap, and the paperwork looks identical.
Ask what the money buys, when it starts paying for itself, and what happens to the repayment if that date slips by six months. If the answer to the last one is uncomfortable, the loan is too large or the timetable is too optimistic.
We would rather talk you out of a facility you do not need than arrange one and see it become the reason the business is run to a schedule it cannot keep.
