Why the door is open on Tuesdays

For a long time the church was locked outside services, however busy the hall was, which meant it was a church for people who already came to church.

It is open now from ten until four every Tuesday. Some people pray. Most sit down. One man comes to read the paper somewhere warm, which is a good enough reason.
