People imagine a visit as something formal. It is not. It is an hour, once a week, with the same neighbor: coffee, the crossword, a lightbulb changed, a letter from the council read aloud and explained.
By the third week, the visit is not a service any more. It is somebody you expect.
Every visitor is trained and background-checked before their first visit, and paired with one neighbor for at least six months. That continuity is the whole point. By the third week, the visit is not a service any more; it is somebody you expect.
