Every night on our tours is spent somewhere family-run, and every one of those places has been stayed in by one of us before a group goes there. We ask the same four questions each time.
Would we go back on our own holiday? If not, we keep looking.
Does the family live there? Can a group of ten sit down to breakfast together? Is it a walk, not a drive, from somewhere worth walking to? And would we go back on our own holiday? If the answer to any of them is no, we keep looking.
It means the rooms are not all the same. One night you may have a sea view and the next a garden. We say which on the tour page, so nobody is surprised.
