A building this severe needs weather behind it. On a blue day it reads as a diagram. Under moving cloud it reads as a shape, which is what it always wanted to be.
The colour original is a beige building on a blue day and it is not worth showing. Mono removes the only information that was arguing with the geometry.
Shot at 85mm from across the street to keep the verticals honest. Wide-angle here bends the whole point out of the frame.
If the colour version is boring, mono will not save it. This one was boring in a specific, fixable way.
