Project details

Arcade Club is a gaming lounge in downtown Oakland with forty consoles, a tournament every Friday, and a queue that used to live on a whiteboard by the door.

We designed and built a companion app that holds your place in the queue, books a console for a group, and turns the lock screen into a live tournament bracket. It launched on iOS and Android in the same week.

• A live queue that tells you ten minutes before your turn.
• Group bookings and tournament sign-up in one flow.
• A React Native codebase handed over to the club’s own developer.
