This year 640 people sent us a talk. Every proposal was read twice, blind, by two reviewers who did not know who had written it, and scored on one question: could only this person give this talk?
Could only this person give this talk? That was the whole test.
The proposals that did best described one project in detail, including what went wrong. The ones that struggled promised ten tips or the future of design. We shortlisted forty, spoke to each of them on a call, and chose twelve.
