How we got here
Nothing in stock, on purpose
Holding stock means guessing sizes and finishes a year ahead, and then discounting whatever you guessed wrong. Cutting to order means six weeks, and it means the piece that arrives is the one that was wanted.

What we will not do
Veneer over chipboard, cam-lock fittings, or a finish that cannot be repaired in a room. None of those are wrong for every piece of furniture; they are wrong for furniture meant to be passed on, which is the only kind worth waiting six weeks for.
