Use the metered taxis or a ride-hailing app from the official rank; the fare is modest and drivers know the area well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The river bus is the prettiest way over.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thao Dien is across the river from District 1, the old centre. The river bus is the prettiest way over: boats leave from Bach Dang pier every half hour, and the Thao Dien stop is a five-minute walk from the venue. On the wedding day there will be taxis waiting at the gate from half past midnight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have an evening free, walk out onto the Thu Thiem bridge at sunset.
