We cannot thank all of them by name, so every January the volunteers choose four among them who stood for the rest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The pantry, the kitchen and the visits exist because you turn up.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year they chose a retired bus driver who took over the van on Tuesdays and has not missed one since; two sisters who run the Saturday clean-up; and a nurse who does her weekly visit at seven in the morning, after a night shift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you, all of you.
