Our impact

Cupped hands holding a handful of coins and a torn note that reads Make a change

48,210 meals and parcels
shared last year

Every one of them was packed, cooked or carried by a volunteer. The pantry now opens five days a week instead of one, and the van reaches the three trailer parks on the edge of town that no bus serves.

1,260 volunteers,
from 16 to 91

Students, retirees, night-shift nurses, whole families on a Saturday. Most give two hours a week; a few give two hours a day. Together they gave 38,400 hours last year — the work of twenty full-time staff.

What we do

Three ways we show up

Food & pantry

A free pantry open five days a week, and parcels delivered to anyone who can’t make it to us.

Hot meals

Lunch every weekday and supper on Fridays, cooked by volunteers. Everyone eats at the same table.

Visits & company

Weekly visits, calls and small jobs for neighbors who live alone, so nobody goes a week without a knock at the door.

Become a volunteer

Two hours a week is enough. Pack parcels, drive the van, cook on Fridays or sit with someone over coffee — we train you and pair you with someone who has done it before.
