The work that makes that possible starts in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Move the slow stock back<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stock that sells slowly moves to the high racks at the back of the store, and the fast lines for the season take the ground-level locations nearest the dock doors. It adds a night of work in October and saves hours every day in December.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">People, not just space<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We train our seasonal team in October, not the week they start, and every new starter works beside someone who has done a December with us before.
