A drain that was never on the plans. The valve everyone knows sticks. None of it is dramatic, and all of it would cost a day if we found it with the crew standing there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who has to be there<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The operator matters most. They know which guard is awkward to remove and which alarm goes off when it should not, and they will tell a site manager things they would never put in an email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everything we find goes into the method statement before it is signed, and every operative reads it at the first briefing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An hour on foot, a clipboard and the plant&#8217;s own operators.
