Three bottles became three buildings, the cacti became a desert town, and the sky is cotton wool pulled apart by hand and hung on thread so the shadows fall on the wall behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The blue is the whole picture. It had to be warm enough not to make the milk look cold, and deep enough that the red caps read from across a supermarket aisle. We painted the board four times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cacti are modelling clay, each about the size of a thumbnail.
