One succulent against a blue wall

One plant, one pot, one wall. The simplest pictures take the longest, because there is nothing to hide behind: if the blue is slightly wrong, the whole photograph is wrong.

This blue took three tins of paint and a week of looking at it in different light. The succulent took ten minutes.
